Walker- need your help on a computer problem
now that I have wireless service, what do I do with the extra time I have by getting on the internet in seconds
rather than minutes(a lot of minutes)- for 20+ years
I've watched the little circle go round and round while
waiting for my dial up to get me started- by my calculation I waited 109,500 minutes over the past 20
years- that's 1825 hours extra time I have now- any
suggestions on how I can use the extra time

Best trip ever to Lynchburg- Tennessee that is-
Trip smooth as silk- had big Ron as tour guide(he's the best)- cedar cabin in the woods was better than advertised- weather was perfect- having our daughter and SIL with us was icing on the cake- may be the last but it was worth it

Sonny Randle- rest in peace my old classmate
Sonny and I were in ROTC together and in my last year
he and I were in the same company. He was excused from drills naturally for sports but I knew him well. Same age- same time period at UVa- same love for sports. He was a character- RIP my friend

Going to see Jack tomorrow- always excited at my age
daughter and SIL will do the driving while mama and I make out in the back seat- full day on Friday- distillery
tour- lunch at famous Mary Bobo boarding house- visit
Jack's grave-visit to Squire house- and stroll the city.
What could be better than spending time in sour mash
holy land.

Grandson graduates from North Carolina today-
he is one fine young man- he wore a lot of Hoo gear as a boy thanks to his Papaw. We have grandsons at Appalachian State and one at Clemson- number 4 will probably attend NCS. We are as proud of them as if they are Hoos!

Sorry to hear that Sarge- I'm right behind you
walking is a chore for me- the good old days are just
memories. I used to drive 17 hours a day on road trips- now trips of 4-5 hours(day time only) would be max.
It's tough to give up driving but you have a keeper in
Fran. Wish you both the best and will keep you in my
prayers- from one old soldier to another- God Bless

Giving it up this year JD, heart valve replacement, cancer
is eating away at some pretty important bones, hardly able to walk now. Boss lady also has to drive for me, makes the injuries in Army career even worse too.

Re: One more year of football-
If it's a game I can attend and you aren't, I'd gladly pay a "token". I believe Mendenhall is building, compared to his predecessor who was tearing down. I'll be back to a ticket holder soon. Just can't justify 11 hr. round trip right now. It wears on me too much.

One more year of football-
decided to stay in there another year for football. May try to get parking a little closer to the stadium since I suffered walking last year. The time is coming when the old boy will say goodbye to something he really loves- also with ticket prices and parking fees I may have to ask a little token on tickets I don't use- haven't done that in the past- the cost to park is more than season tickets is years gone by- $190 vs $135- wow

Hate to have missed the game even with a loss--
had two calves born Saturday- even a rare bull. At game time I was loading a bull during a rain shower-missed seeing the gang, especially the female gang.
If all goes well, I will have a mini vacation the last week
of May- look our Lynchburg Tennessee, the old man is
coming. My daughter and SIL will do the driving and
Barb and I will sit back and enjoy the scenery- a well deserved weekend

You still on? looks like a rainy weekend based on early forecast. We'll have two Hokies and a "special" guest in tow, if weather doesn't mess with us. Lots of issues with tailgating, due to construction, in case you don't know I'll forward info.
